Creative cities and regions in Europe – Calls for abstracts

CREATIVE CITIES AND REGIONS IN EUROPE

28th November 2018, Győr, Hungary

Call for Abstracts

Abstract submission deadline: 15th November 2018

Creative industry plays an important role in the life of cities and regions of the European Union. The European Commission’s new tool, the Cultural and Creative Cities Monitor is designed to help national, regional and municipal policy makers identify local strengths and opportunities and benchmark their cities against similar urban centers using both quantitative and qualitative data. The European Capital of Culture is an important tool to make European cities more and more creative. We welcome papers in connection with the topics below.

In the framework of the conference we celebrate the 10th anniversary of DETUROPE journal. DETUROPE (The Central European Journal of Regional Development and Tourism) is an international online peer-reviewed open-access journal that exists since 2009. It offers a possibility for the international community of professionals working in the fields of regional and rural development or tourism to exchange their ideas and research results or practical achievements as it publishes results of both theoretical and applied research in these fields.
